I bought this shoe to include in my rotation for marathon training. It’s been awhile since I ran in ASICS but heard the Nimbus 24’s were a good trainer with good cushion for all types of runs. I ran 5 kilometers out the box and the run was well cushioned although fore foot landings still a little bit stiff but with a breaking in period no problems on next runs of 5 miles or more! The shoe is light enough to pick up the pace and will do strides on them soon! It’s a good overall trainer that can do a bit of everything! Excellent on long runs where you need good cushioning and a comfy upper! Tongue sits nicely a on top of foot. A good shoe for daily training or to add to your rotation. Good to see ASICS gel-nimbus is back!

Purchased Asics Gel Nimbus 24's from fleet feet in Sugar Land Tx. - knowledgeable and friendly staff. (A welcomed surprise after buying many pairs of running shoes from the big box stores.) They did not have these shoes in my size on hand but quickly ordered them to be sent to my house They arrived at my front door a few days later Currently have run 72 miles in them and love the cushioned ride. At 72 years of age and many thousands of miles of running and my share of injuries I need running shoes that have good support and are will cushioned. They are excellent for long runs as well as hill work and speed intervals on the treadmill.
