New Deal' songwriter dies at 85 LOS ANGELES (AP) Composer Milton Ager, who wrote such songs as "Happy Days Are Here Again," "Ain't She Sweet," "Hard Hearted Hannah" and "Nobody's Baby," has died at the age of 85.

Mr. Ager died Sunday at Centinela Hospital Medical Center after a long illness. Memorial services will be held Friday. A Chicago native, Mr. Ager began his career by playing the piano in movie and vaudeville theaters during high school.

He went to New York in 1913, and for a time accompanied vaudeville singers. In 1932'. "Happy Days are Here Again" became the campaign song for Franklin Delano Roosevelt's first term campaign and for the New Deal it spawned. He is survived his wife, Cecilia, two daughters, Laurel Bentley and journalist Shana Alexander, and two granddaughters. Chemical spill forces evacuation CHESTER.

Pa. (AP) About 1.000 persons, including 300 elementar pupils, were evacuated yesterday after a tank truck overturned, spilling 6.100 gallons of toluene, a flammable industrial solvent. police said. The truck driver, William Smith. 52, of Chester, said he was taking the toluene from the Sun Co.

Mazzo, an active township Demoof crat and administrative assistant at of Ancora State Hospital, died Sunday at at Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. He was 57. An employee of the Winslow Township-based hospital for 24 years, Mr. Mazzo was founder of the South Jersey Supervisory Chapter No. 9, New Jersey State Employees Association.

Kille a prominent South Jersey farmer and agricultural expert. who died Friday at Pitman Manor after a long illness. Mr. Kille was 89 and had operated a vegetable farm near Bridgeport in Logan Township for more than 50 years before his retirement.

He conducted extensive agricultural research and developed a number of new tomato varieties. including one that bears his name the Kille Number 7. Some of the tomato varieties he produced are now widely grown throughout Florida. Mr. Kille conducted much of his work for the New Jersey Experimental Station.

the U.S. Department of Agriculture and Rutgers University. A lifelong resident of Logan, Mr. Kille attended Peirce Business School in Philadelphia and RutgersNew Brunswick. He was former president of the township school board, a director of the First National Bank of Pedricktown.

REID Rites tomorrow for Mrs. Schillig WOODBURY HEIGHTS vices will be tomorrow for Mrs. Sophie M. Schillig. 80, founder and owner of Schillig's Black Horse Pike Farm, a landmark restaurant in Mount Ephraim.

Mrs. Schillig died Saturday while attending the wedding of a grandchild in Sacred Heart Church. Mount Ephraim. A native of Switzerland. Mrs.

Schillig started the tavern-restaurant in 1941 with her husband, Francis X. The business was sold in 1974 and is now known as Jacoby's. The couple started the business with a $2.000 loan and worked at outside jobs to keep it going in its early years. She also was known for her support of church and local charities. She was a member of the Swiss Benevolent Society and Sacred Heart Church.

Mary's Cemetery, Bellmawr Search continues for lost diabetic FLORENCE More than a week ago, 47-year-old James Marshall, a partially blind diabetic, disappeared from his home here. And police said yesterday they are no further along in their search than they were when he was first reported missing. Marshall was last seen in the downtown area of the township on the afternoon of April 27. Since then, police and members of the Delaware Valley and Burlington County React citizen band radio units, have combed the wooded areas in the township looking for him without success. Police said Marshall was babysitting his 5-year-old nephew that Friday night at the home he shares with his brother, Robert, in the 1000 block of W.

Front Street. Marshall allegedly told the boy he was going out for a walk and has not been seen since. Family members have expressed concern over his disappearance because he did not take his medication and may go into shock or a fatal diabetic coma.
